Geeklings, how was everyone’s weekend? Did you partake in some Halloween goodness? Perhaps, binged watch a certain show taking place in Hawkins, Indiana? Maybe all of the above? Because that’s what yours truly did. Season two of Stranger Things is complete with a review heading to Fan Fest and here tomorrow (what whaaaat) and the Adorable Creature and I got our Halloween on with a little too much tequila for me…

Yeah, we looked awesome. The Adorable Creature totally killed it and that waffle purse has become all the rage. I will say that she is crazy dedicated to the authenticity of the character, and I suspect that she would make one hell of a cosplayer. You can’t see it but she even drew the 011 tattoo on her arm and the blood had to be perfect. She totally nailed it.

Don’t worry if you didn’t celebrate Halloween just yet, it’s here tomorrow so you still have plenty of time to throw together a costume. In the meantime though, why not spend a little time over here at I Am Geek and see what’s worth geeking out about this week. It’s Monday so you know what that means…

New Week In Geek!

1. Thor: Ragnarok- It seems that it has been forever since there was a new Marvel movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming was released waaaaaaay back in July, but luckily November has arrived with Thor: Ragnarok. The reviews have been glowing, I’ve never understood the negative reviews for Thor movies, as Thor looks to lead into the next Avengers movie. While the film looks all types of entertaining, and super funny from what I understand, I can’t wait to catch a glimpse of Planet Hulk. That’s the big selling point for me. That, and the fact that it’s a new Marvel movie. Oh, and Cate Blanchett as the villain. Easy sell around.

2. Stranger Things 2 Pops- I’m just going to put this here. I don’t need to tell you how badly I want them. You know that already. I can tell you that if Amazon is to believed they go on sale tomorrow. Goodbye wallet. Life is good.

3. Spider-Man PS4- If the Arkham video games have taught me anything it’s how badly I’ve wanted a good Spider-Man video game, and I think we might actually be on the cusp of getting one folks. Looking past my obvious love for the inclusion of Miles Morales and looking at the open map, the inclusion of massive villains like Osborne, Kingpin, Shocker, and Mr. Negative, the game looks beautiful and possibly the Spider-Man game we’ve been dreaming of. It’s hard not to get those Arkham vibes here. Please don’t suck, please don’t suck, please don’t suck…

4. Last of Us 2– If you recall a little while ago I wrote a column about this game and how it made me want to get back into video games. Something I’ve actually been doing and enjoying. If only there was enough time in the day. With that being said, Sony released a new trailer for Last of Us 2 today and it is brutal and gorgeous. It has nothing to do with our main characters but it does further expand their universe and raise a number of questions. God, I can’t wait for this game which will probably be out in 2018. Arrrrggggh waiting.
