Week In Geek- Sharks In the Water, Own Endgame, & Hobbs & Shaw

Geeklings, a very happy Monday to you all… if there even is such a thing as a happy Monday. I mean it could be worse, it could be nine o’clock on a Sunday night and Monday is looming heavy in the forefront. Nothing worse than a weekend that is coming to an end. Lucky for you I Am Geek is here to make your Monday feel like a Friday. How do we do something that awesome you might ask? Well, allow me to introduce you to the Week In Geek!

Let’s jump-start this week with a whole lot of awesome to drown those Monday and Tuesday blues. Everything should be way better after that because we know there’s no Wednesday blues because it’s New Comic Book Day and being sad on a Wednesday just isn’t possible. This is a fact. So it is written so shall it come to pass. As for this week though, there’s a bunch of things to send your hype meters into the red. Starting with…

sharksShark Week– That’s right, it’s that glorious time of summer where the Discovery channel becomes a 24/7 nightmare for yours truly. That’s not entirely true. While I have an irrational fear of sharks and their soulless eyes, I can’t help but be fascinated by the creatures. There’s just something majestic about them, and I can appreciate that majesticness from the comforts of my couch… or the shore. All personal fears and trepidations aside, Shark Week is an absolute blast filled with tons of sharky content to hold you off for an entire year. I don’t even need to tell you specific shows either. All you need to know is sharks. There will be sharks on tv for a week. And if any of you start singing “Baby Shark” you can kindly show yourself out right now.

What more could you want out of this? Idris Elba. The Rock. Jason Statham. Bonkers set pieces. Massive action. And all the cheesy awesomeness you could possibly handle.

There you have it Geeklings, everything you should be looking forward to this week. Be sure to share what’s got you the most excited in the comments or throw me a line over on Twitter @iamgeek32. See you all tomorrow.
