If you’re reading this then chances are you didn’t burn your eyes out looking at the eclipse or the puffiness from last night’s Game of Thrones has resided and you’re able to see again. Either or I’m always happy to welcome your eyeholes here.

It’s time for a brand new Week in Geek (yaaaaaay)

1. Game of Throne season finale- Can you believe it’s already time for the season finale? It seems like just yesterday we were kick-starting season seven with viewing parties and welcomed fictional stress. Now that stress is completely heightened (and real), we’ve had casualties (although for Game of Thrones standards not that many), and everything is coming to a head. After last night’s stellar episode (check Fan Fest for my review) I can only imagine what’s going to happen on Sunday. All I know is that I’m going to miss it when it’s over. I’m not ready to say goodbye to season seven, especially to writing reviews and previews, but I can’t wait for Sunday.

2. Doomsday Clock cover images- Today on Twitter Geoff Johns released images for the first issue of Doomsday Clock, the DC Rebirth continuation that will see Doctor Manhattan make himself known to the DC universe, and there is a certain Watchmen quality to them. I know that DC just started their Metal crossover but I am anxiously awaiting November for this to start. On top of that, these covers look glorious.

3. Mayweather vs McGregor- There’s a lot of hype surrounding this boxing match if we can call it a boxing match. I don’t know what to expect, to be honest. This thing has been more spectacle than anything and I don’t think the fight will be much more. I am not a Mayweather fan and would love to see McGregor knock him out but I really don’t think it’s going to happen. This thing seems like it’s going to be a shit show and there’s no way I’m going to miss it.
