Geeklings, guess what? We are six columns away from reaching 500 posts here on I Am Geek. In fact, once I publish this column we’ll only be five posts away. How freakin’ cool is that?! Can you believe it? 500 posts. That’s super exciting and you best believe when we hit that milestone we’re going to celebrate. I’m not entirely sure what we’re going to do yet but it’s going to be all types of awesome. I’ll ponder but in the meantime, we’ve got a brand new Week In Geek to get excited about. There are a few things to look forward to this week. Such as,

1. Star Wars The Last Jedi on digital release- That’s right, as of tomorrow you can finally own The Last Jedi. I say finally in a bit of a sarcastic tone as it feels like The Last Jedi hasn’t really left theaters yet, but here we are, a day away from being able to own it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the speedy turn around of movies from theater to home screens. It’s great. It hopefully means that I can watch Black Panther again in the next month or so. And for those of you who didn’t get to see The Last Jedi fifteen times in theaters, you can now watch the film in the comfort of your own home where you can pause, breakdown, and rewind at your leisure. Right now I’m in full Marvel mode but one can never have too much Star Wars. Looking forward to adding this to my library.

2. Mister Miracle #7- I would argue that Mister Miracle is the best comic on the shelves right now. I can almost guarantee you haven’t read a superhero story like this before. It’s dark and brooding. It’s heavy and emotional. It’s philosophical, deeply layered, and existential. Mister Miracle is transforming the superhero narrative and we are all witness to its brilliance. After a brief break, Mister Miracle returns to finish it’s last six books, and after last issues cliffhanger… man, things are going to get wild. I’m telling you Geeklings, Tom King has crafted something special here. You need to do yourselves a favor and start reading it. The hype is real.

3. Avengers Infinity War… trailer?!-  Anything? Russo Brothers? Just another glimpse? Soon? Please… the rumors are that it’s on the horizon. Could this be the week it finally drops? God, I hope so. I am so ready for another trailer.
