Geeklings, a very happy Monday to you all. How is everyone doing today? I spent the majority of my day in the depths of a very serious laundry like hell. Actually, there is no like about it, it was just a straight up laundry hell. I did something like four loads today… it was brutal. My t-shirt routine has been well documented here so I won’t get into how much this sucked, but I am asking that you feel my pain. Just a little.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way what do you say we tackle ourselves a little Week In Geek? Because my friends there is no better way to start the week than with a new Week In Geek column. You know this to be true. I know this to be true. So let’s get down to it.

1. Westworld season 2- Is it me or did season two of Westworld kind of creep up on us? I knew it was coming but for some reason, I thought we had more time. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait for this show to come back but I was hoping to binge season one again before it did. You know, to refresh my memory. All I did was watch one episode. Not sure if I’m going to make it. We’ll see though. In the meantime, season two will wait for no binge and will arrive on Sunday night ready to melt our faces. You should anticipate the scope of the show expanding a bit after last seasons mind blowing ending and the casual introduction to other parks. Our hosts seem to be self-aware now which can’t be good for the humans attending or working for the park. What bigger mysteries are out there to explore? One has to believe that Ford has more things waiting for us in the shadows. I for one can’t wait to take that deep dive into the show and start theorizing after each episode. Honestly, it was my favorite aspect of season one. There’s a deep mythology here and I want to get lost in it. 2018 has been a pretty solid year for television thus far (with Atlanta, Barry, Jessica Jones, and Legion) and I fully expect Westworld to add to that list.

2. Super Troopers 2– I would argue that we don’t really need this movie. In fact, it makes me kind of nervous. My junior-senior years in college can be defined by the number of times I watched Super Troopers. It’s one of those movies I hold close to my heart and can quote pretty much at will randomly. You never know when you’ll need a good Super Troopers quote to make the day pass by. The sequel does bring back the entire cast which is promising and who knows, maybe the large gap between the original will actually help it. I just hope this doesn’t turn into an Ace Ventura 2 type deal where they beat a dead horse with the same jokes over and over again. I’m holding hope that this will be good. Reluctant hope, but hope none the less.

3. The Incredibles 2– Speaking of sequels the world needs, I present to you… The Incredibles 2! Yeah, I’m all in on this. Nothing about it looks bad. Everything about it looks… well, incredible. Yeah, I see what I did there but I’m not ashamed. You chuckled. Or agreed? Doesn’t matter. This trailer looks like it captures the feels of the original while expanding the universe a bit, and it’s a Pixar movie so you know it’s going to have heart and feels. I need this movie ASAP (see what I did there?).

4. Avengers Infinity War ELEVEN DAYS AWAY!!!!- That is all
