Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker- Your Feelings Are the Only Ones That Matter

Why is it so difficult to write about the new Star Wars films?! In a perfect world, I would come here and start breaking down my thoughts of the movie discussing what worked, what didn’t work, and what has me excited for the future of the franchise. Yet, life within the Star Wars fandom is less than perfect. In fact, the levels of toxicity are … Continue reading Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker- Your Feelings Are the Only Ones That Matter

Week In Geek- Last Episode of Baby Yoda/The Mandalorian & More of You

Geeklings, it’s Monday which can only mean one thing. Brand new Week In Geek! The one thing you’ve clearly been looking forward to all day. I can see you now, sitting at your desks at work slowly fading as the time moves sloth-like. You’re contemplating pouring your coffee all over your keyboard to see what happens when suddenly a thought comes to your brain. Your … Continue reading Week In Geek- Last Episode of Baby Yoda/The Mandalorian & More of You

Pull List- Endings For Batman, Doomsday Clock, & Thor Make For Bittersweet NCBD

Here we are Geeklings, at the end of all things or Happy New Comic Book Day to you all! Either one will suffice honestly. This is the last New Comic Book Day before Christmas which means all major publishers apparently wanted to release ALL the books. At once.  It wasn’t my alarm clock that woke me up this morning but the screaming of my wallet. … Continue reading Pull List- Endings For Batman, Doomsday Clock, & Thor Make For Bittersweet NCBD

Can the Answers to Rise of Skywalker Be Found In Star Wars Rebels?

If you haven’t watched any of the trailers for Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker or read any of the press tours or anything really, you might want to stay away from this column. You have been warned. There are no legit spoilers just theories based on what we’ve seen through trailers and press. I know nothing and you should know by now that I … Continue reading Can the Answers to Rise of Skywalker Be Found In Star Wars Rebels?

Week In Geek- Star Wars (!!), The Witcher Arrives, & Goodbye Friend w/ Mr. Robot

Geeklings, you would think with the end of the year only two weeks away that things would start to slow down on the pop culture landscape. You know, give us some time to finish some things and prepare for the awesome that is surely coming in 2020. That’s logical thinking and if 2019 has taught us anything it’s that logical thinking needs to get thrown … Continue reading Week In Geek- Star Wars (!!), The Witcher Arrives, & Goodbye Friend w/ Mr. Robot

Have We Seen The Mr. Robot Ending?

When you take a moment to think about it, 2019 has kind of been the year of endings. Such a large number of things that I love have been calling it quits this year. Whether it was Game of Thrones, The Good Place/BoJack Horseman (really ending in 2020 but 2019 started the ball rolling), Endgame is ushering a new era for the MCU, the final chapter in Breaking Bad … Continue reading Have We Seen The Mr. Robot Ending?

Pull List- A Massive Crossover, Mutant Mysteries, & Justice League Wars

Geeklings, you know when it’s been a day and you don’t want to deal anymore? That’s kind of what today has been like for me. Work was “blegh”. The weather is “blegh”. Christmas music is effin everywhere. And I just want to go home, lay in my bed, play video games and watch Star Wars movies. But nooooooo, the man says I’ve got to work … Continue reading Pull List- A Massive Crossover, Mutant Mysteries, & Justice League Wars

Week In Geek- 007 Trailer Trailer, Crisis Comes to the CW, & the Doctor’s Arrival Date

Geeklings, what is going on?! Hopefully, this Monday finds you indoors and warm as the first real snowy mix is heading my way here on the east coast. That gets a resounding “yuck” from yours truly. I hate snow. I hate it so much. Don’t give me any of that “but it looks so pretty” because that lasts like three seconds before all the muck. Plus, it means it’s cold out and winter is here (no longer coming) and winter is just this loooong, dark, vortex holding us hostage until the sun re-emerges with warmth and spring. But I don’t want to talk about snow. I’m like Anakin Skywalker with sand when it comes to snow. I hate it.

Difficulties In Reading Dated Source Material

I’m the type of person when watching a trailer for something that looks especially tasty and I find out that there’s a book/comic attached it means nothing else can happen until I read the source material. I feel like I owe it to the author to consume the story how it was initially created. Sure, this all feeds into my OCD problems, like how my … Continue reading Difficulties In Reading Dated Source Material
