Geeklings, a very Happy New Comic Book Day to you all! What better day to curl up in your favorite chair, sip some soup like the Baby Yoda that you are, and read this week’s batch of comics. Of course, you’ll have to get them first which means either leaving your Cave of Comfort for the local comic book shop or just be a heathen … Continue reading Pull List- Superman’s Identity, Breaking Into America, & Assassin High School
After a year of waiting, the CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths has finally arrived and things have started off with a bang. In the opening minutes of the first episode, of five, we caught glimpses to Tim Burton’s Batman, DC Universe’s Titans (big surprise here), and a hysterical run-in with Robin from the Adam West Batman days. It was clear that Crisis is here not … Continue reading Crisis On Infinite Earths- Was [SPOILER’S] Death… Kinda Lame?
Geeklings, what is going on?! Hopefully, this Monday finds you indoors and warm as the first real snowy mix is heading my way here on the east coast. That gets a resounding “yuck” from yours truly. I hate snow. I hate it so much. Don’t give me any of that “but it looks so pretty” because that lasts like three seconds before all the muck. Plus, it means it’s cold out and winter is here (no longer coming) and winter is just this loooong, dark, vortex holding us hostage until the sun re-emerges with warmth and spring. But I don’t want to talk about snow. I’m like Anakin Skywalker with sand when it comes to snow. I hate it.

This year’s CW Arrowverse crossover gave us a lot to get excited about. For starters, we finally got our first look at Ruby Rose’s Batwoman, and she kicked alllllll types of butt. Not only was Gotham City mentioned but also visited as the gang battled the crazies over in Arkham Asylum which was full of Batman easter eggs including Bane’s mask, Scarecrow’s terror serum, and … Continue reading What Crisis On Infinite Earths Means For the Arrowverse
Geeklings, I’m sure you thought I might have forgotten about you but come on, it’s Monday. How could I forget about my Geeklings on a Monday?! The long and the short of it is I’ve had a pretty crazy day that is capping off a pretty incredible weekend. Yours truly and the Adorable Creature got engaged on Saturday and it has been quite the whirlwind of … Continue reading Week In Geek- So Many Spider-Men, Elseworlds Continues, & Monsters
Geeklings, it appears that I have survived the move! The Fortress of Nerditude is no more after five glorious years of existence. I’ll tell you something Geeklings, you couldn’t imagine how much crap I had/have. For serious. I thought this move was going to be easy, it’s literally across the hall, and around hour two of moving on Friday I had a panic attack. I … Continue reading Week In Geek- A Mega Marvel Week & Elseworlds
Geeklings, I told you yesterday that this was going to be an up and down writing week. At least I think it is. I had to get pick up the Adorable Creature from the airport today, she’s been gone since Saturday and I somehow managed to survive and remain fed, which didn’t give me a lot of time to write today after work… Okay, that’s … Continue reading Elseworlds Awesomeness
Geeklings, you remember our good friend Tiffani Bennett? Of course, you do she was here a little while ago talking about coming out of the Fan Girl Closet. Good news! She’s back with a brand new column on this most glorious Friday. That’s right, we’re really spoiling you with content this week. You’re welcome, you’re welcome. And after you reading Tiffani’s post why not hang … Continue reading Once You Pop! You Can’t Stop
Last year was not a good year for the Arrowverse. Outside of Black Lightning and Legends of Tomorrow (which I heard was stellar), it was kind of a down year for everyone’s favorite CW superheroes. The Flash focused too hard on being light and funny that it kind of lost track of what made the show great. The introduction of Elastic Man didn’t help either as he single-handedly became the worst part of … Continue reading Is the Arrowverse Jumping the Shark With Batwoman?
