Geeklings, what is going on?! Hopefully, this Monday finds you indoors and warm as the first real snowy mix is heading my way here on the east coast. That gets a resounding “yuck” from yours truly. I hate snow. I hate it so much. Don’t give me any of that “but it looks so pretty” because that lasts like three seconds before all the muck. Plus, it means it’s cold out and winter is here (no longer coming) and winter is just this loooong, dark, vortex holding us hostage until the sun re-emerges with warmth and spring. But I don’t want to talk about snow. I’m like Anakin Skywalker with sand when it comes to snow. I hate it.
I was at the day job today when I noticed that it’s August 15th. August 15th. We are officially halfway through August which means summer is almost over. Can you believe it? The panic started to settle in for a moment, but I was able to get composed by reminding myself that it is New Comic Book Day. Phew, crisis avoided. While I was reflecting on … Continue reading What Movies Are Left In 2018?
Geeklings, a very happy Monday to you all. Now I’m sure some of you are thinking, “Kevin, a happy Monday is a bit of an oxymoron”, and to those of you who think this way… you’re not wrong. Geeklings, in my lifetime I have experienced a number of snowstorms. I live on Long Island it’s kind of what we have to put up with during the winter. There are at least two to three good ones per year (if we’re lucky), and each time I find myself filled with the hate of thousand burning suns. I hate snow. Hate it. Each time I … Continue reading The Emergence of A Bomb Cyclone
As far as pop vinyls are concerned, this week was supposed to be pretty simplistic. There was an announcement on Fridayish that they would start releasing some of the NY Comic Con exclusives starting Monday and that was cool with me. I love Comic Con exclusives, I basically just love Funko exclusives, and I’ll be attending NYCC which makes me feel like I’m in the loop. … Continue reading The Week Funko Broke My Wallet
There was a time where my mornings were spent driving to work listening to the ESPN Radio app so I can hear Mike and Mike In the Morning (my sports program of choice), this is especially heavy during football season. Even more so if my Giants are a relevant team. If they play like crap I’d rather not listen to the show on Monday in fear of … Continue reading The Awesomeness of Mark Hamill
